ROBOT & Consbo present: Sei Digitale

Six instrumental sets for six performers of live electronic music. The protagonist of the project is ‘digital diversity’, i.e. how six musicians can interpret their own live sound expression in completely different ways, realising hybrid setups that have a numerical system at their centre, but also expanded instruments and radically different man-machine interaction modes.
On the thematic prompting of ROBOT Festival, the School of Electronic Music of Bologna proposes a sequence of six performances, capable of making us reflect on the very sense of making live music with digital instruments, taken to their maximum extension and put to the test of a modality that refers to a continuous transition between analogue and digital, between gesture and algorithm, between sound and music.
