Basilica S. Maria dei Servi
A masterpiece of Bolognese Gothic along Strada Maggiore, built in 1393 by Andrea Manfredi and Antonio di Vincenzo. The church is fronted by a striking quadriporticus and houses Cimabue’s Madonna in trono. The bell tower, 52 meters high, is distinguished by its elegant small columns. Inside, a monumental and culturally significant organ will be used for an exclusive performance of the ROBOT Festival.
The structure is accessible to people with mobility disabilities. Inside the Basilica, there are four steps to access the restrooms.
Chiesa S. Barbaziano
A historic jewel located at the intersection of via Barberia and via Cesare Battisti. Founded by St. Petronius in 432, the church was rebuilt between 1608 and 1612 by architect Pietro Fiorini. Desacralized in 1806 and later used as a warehouse, the Church of San Barbaziano recently underwent a new life thanks to a careful restoration that transformed it into a vibrant cultural center. Today, this revitalized space hosts events and initiatives, and will be one of the compelling locations for ROBOT Festival.
The entire facility is accessible to people with mobility disabilities.
DumBO Binario Centrale
A pavilion with great post-industrial charm that has been completely refurbished and develops into a single hall overlooked by a large balcony. Perfect for hosting everything from a large concert to a theatrical performance, from site-specific performances to the most diverse initiatives open to the general public.
The entire facility is accessible to persons with mobility disabilities.
DumBO
Bologna changes. Bologna rediscovers large and fascinating spaces, long forgotten, now ready to distil creativity. Bologna confronts its past, present and technological future. Bologna grows. Bologna surprises.
DumBO Temporanea
The most reminiscent of a station among the buildings in DumBO, with the platform on the long side following the track. The name ‘Temporary’ makes it a temporary installation, a temporary gallery, a temporary square, a temporary station… It is in a good state of preservation, has a rectangular layout and is on two levels: the lower one, porticoed, completely open on all sides, the upper one enclosed and developed on a single room.
The entire facility is accessible to persons with mobility disabilities.

Oratorio di San Filippo Neri

Palazzo Re Enzo
The city’s most prestigious historical residence, capable of hosting main events. Palazzo Re Enzo consists of two large outdoor spaces and halls of up to 800 square metres and covers over 2500 square metres. The entire structure is accessible to persons with motor disabilities. In the heart of Bologna, it is the ideal setting for an unforgettable ROBOT event.
TPO
The Teatro Polivalente Occupato was founded in 1995. After an initial eviction from the Academy of Fine Arts spaces in 2000, it occupied a former aquarium factory until 2007. From that year until now, the TPO has been located at 17/5 Via Casarini. These are the walls that have protected it.
A social centre is an indefinable space that cannot be enclosed by concept. A definition shared and cherished by ROBOT Festival, which brings some of its most eagerly awaited, courageous and experimental events here.
